Hi, I'm Julia and I'm the creator of She Speaks Media Enterprises! 

 

I've always had a passion for words, and their ability to change perspectives. As a young child, I became entralled with the media industry and dreamed of the day where I'd write my own Letter to the Editor in a magazine that was my heart, soul, and mind.

 

In 2014, I had the opportunity to attend the Disney Dreamers Academy, where my passions for journalism were immediately validated. From working with Essence Magazine to contributing for the Huffington Post, I knew this was a profession I wanted more and more of. Thus, She Speaks was launched!

 

She Speaks gives opportunities to aspiring journalists while providing meaningful feedback by successful editors in the media industry. The entire blog, magazine, and radio show is student inspired and produced, and we're passionately committed to defying the norms and bringing the best product possible to our readers. Quite simply, we love what we do, and we know you will too.
