Shaye DiPasquale – Womens’ Issues Editor

I’m  eternally obsessed with pop punk bands, music festivals, long days at the beach and beat up Converse high-tops. Currently, I’m a high school senior who is studying world affairs in the Contemporary Global Issues Program at my school. I love to express myself through different styles of dance and I take pride in being an avid dreamer.  My fashion style is forever evolving and I may or may not be addicted to shoes.   Ever since I was little, I have always wanted to have my own talk show where I could talk about issues that mattered to me. I tend to come up with big ideas and I’m always looking for an audience to express my thoughts to. I’m a self-declared activist who tends to get pretty involved in causes I care about. I founded a Girl Up chapter at my high school and I serve as the Outreach Coordinator for the NJ Girl Up Regional Coalition. As an advocate for female empowerment, I support gender equality and women’s rights in developing countries .Youtube has become a big part of my life, as I create videos on beauty, fashion and women’s issues and I am privileged to be able to reach out to so many people.  My life goals include learning to play guitar, going on tour with a famous band and igniting a passion within others to aspire to be the best they can be.
