Elaine C. Pouliot: Editor

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry & Business, and unsure of what to do with her newfound degree, Elaine joined a Fortune 500 company in NYC as a temporary receptionist.  A firm believer in dressing for success, Elaine purposefully dressed and acted for her next position, presenting herself as she wished to be perceived.   After less than a month on the job, Elaine was noticed by the Vice President of Training and Development, and invited into the next Management Training program, leading to an 15 year tenure and climb up the corporate ladder. 

 

Since then, Elaine has combined her business acumen with her sense of self and sense of style to launch Image by Elaine Pouliot.  A Certified Image Consultant from Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York, Elaine has additional training in color, men’s wear, personal shopping, fashion styling, and closet organization. She is a member of the Association of Image Consultants International where she is a member of the board as Vice President of Marketing. She is certified in Essential Manners and Social Skills for Children and Teens as well as Corporate Etiquette and International Protocol. 

 

Elaine is very active in assisting young men and women to help make change in their lives.  She has worked with many high schools and colleges guiding graduates to reach their full potential in life. She is a member of Step Up Women's Network a nonprofit organization dedicated to igniting women and girls to fulfill their potential.  An avid animal lover, in 1999 Elaine and her husband started Pet Angels, a non-profit organization, delivering food to over 500 pets each month. She lives in New York and Florida with her husband and her 2 sweet cats.
